Hello
My name is Ivy Livengood. I'm a therapist, small business owner, and Kentucky-native. I'm wildly passionate about mental health. More specifically, about increasing access to mental health services. I'm hopeful that I can contribute to expanding mental health services by allowing provider's, group practices, and corporations the opportunity to learn from my knowledge and expertise on mental healthcare program operations, practice management, and insurance credentialing.
My Story
I started this business in 2021 after realizing there was very little support for providers in private practice who were trying to navigate practice management and the insurance credentialing process. I realized how challenging it was for provider's to see clients, operate, and manage their practice. Along the way, I've become very well acquainted with Medicaid regulations and program implementation. I've managed credentialing projects for large organizations and have helped several providers transition to private practice. I have consulted with behavioral health corporations on ways to streamline operations, maximize efficiency in order to increase revenue. I've worked with billing teams, offering training on credentialing, Electronic Health Record (EHR) setup, and implementation of billing processes. Oftentimes I act as a liaison between behavioral health entities and insurance payers. In doing so, I advocate for policy compliance by the insurance payer, on behalf of group practices and corporations who are providing much needed services for their communities. I am also passionate about helping provider's be successful in their transition to private practice.
Being a mental health provider myself, offers me a very unique and valuable perspective on practice management. I understand what it takes to render services and how important mental health services are. In addition, I know how important self-care is in this profession. I'd like to help you make running your practice or corporation more manageable.
I currently serve on the board of directors as membership co-chair for the Kentucky Society for Clinical Social Work. I provide psychotherapy both in-person and via telehealth alongside my sister, Ellen Livengood, LCSW at Your Guide to Livengood.
